Michigan's most upscale shopping mall is so impressed with its offerings that it calls itself a "collection," not a mall. Indeed, many shoppers would consider some of these stores works of art. Nordstrom, Ralph Lauren/Polo, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., Neiman-Marcus and Sunglass Hut are among the top destinations. Even during the busiest shopping days, Somerset has an unusual air of decorum. It's the equivalent of putting New York's Fifth Avenue indoors. Several dining options rise above the typical mall fare, but then, you'd expect that from a place that doesn't consider itself a mall.
