This should be your first stop in Flagstaff, especially if it's your first time visiting. Situated across from downtown inside a historic 1927 train depot which now houses the Amtrak ticket counter, the center is a tourist attraction in itself and a must see for train aficionados. The always-friendly staff will try to answer any questions you might have about the town and the region as well as supply you with maps and brochures. The gift shop offers and abundance of Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Route 66 and train souvenirs. Two hour parking is conveniently located around the depot, with unlimited parking across the railroad tracks.
