This is Israel’s Gay and Lesbian community’s annual event, which takes the form of a bright and colourful parade. Tel Aviv en masse spills onto the streets in support of the gay community. Families with young children as well as flamboyantly dressed drag queens join in the festivities. The route goes along Ibn Gvirol Street (where the City Hall is located) and culminates in Hayarkon Park in Ramat Gan. The parade starts midday and the party goes on until 7p.
