Bruno Pellegrini's restaurant recently received the highest praise from France's Gault Millau gourmet guide. The happy few who can afford it will discover a unique and creative kind of cuisine, summed up by dishes like carré of milk lamb served with mussels and gratinée kohlrabi. Some critics lament the restaurant's peach-coloured décor while others complain that regular guests receive better service than first-time customers. But none of them could even try to deny that Ana e Bruno is by far and away the best Italian in town.
