Although not many people will remember the post-war boxing champion Franz Diener, his pub near Savignyplatz is still extremely popular. Local celebrities can often be seen digging into a schnitzel or meat loaf, but most of the customers are regular people attracted by the old world atmosphere and the competitive prices.
