Jazzhuset is situated in Vasastaden; Erik Dahlbergsgatan is at the lower end of Vasagatan, which starts at Avenyn and continues down towards Handelshögskolan. Jazzhuset offers live music almost every day of the week. Thursdays host Club Gump with a more youthful pop/rock clientele, but otherwise they cater to a more mature audience. On Fridays and Saturdays they attract the 40+ crowd with various genres (jazz, blues, rhythm & blues, rock), and also a nightclub with DJs before and after the live performances. Jazzhuset admits around 300 people.
