The view of the harbour, the oil refineries on the opposite shore of Göta Älv, and the impressive height of nearby Älvsborgsbron probably make Konstkaféet at Klippan the most dramatically situated café in Gothenburg. But this is not the primary source of the café's fame, or the large ships that pass by outside the windows. Konstcaféet is renowned for the art that covers its walls. They are not always of the highest standard and is located a bit off the beaten path. A weekend visit, including a walk along the river is probably your best option. You can also take the ferry Älv-snabben to Klippan.
