Göteborgsvarvet is a short marathon that attracts both professional runners and ordinary people wanting to test their limits. It is run each year in early May, and if the weather is good, the streets are lined with spectators. The start and finish are at Slottsskogsvallen. There is no fixed last date for entering, but you should do so before 31 December. The entry fee is SEK250 (EUR29.50). Note that it can be almost impossible to get around by car anywhere in Gothenburg the day Göteborgsvarvet is run.
