Customers for 20 Years
All of the beautiful ladies that work in this store are very knowledgeable about their jewelry and extremely helpful in finding just the right ring, pendant, etc. that my husband and I love wearing. They treat us like friends, not customers and care that we are completely satisfied with our purchases. We pay prices that we consider fair based on the enjoyment we derive from wearing this jewelry, not whether the pieces appraise out at equal to or more than the value placed on them by jewelers in the states. Shopping there is always a wonderful experience!

Wish I could go back.
Key is... don't buy jewelry right at the port. This store is in town and you need transportation. It was well worth it and we were very satisfied. These people made our bad weather day a great experience. We had intentions of upgrading my engagement ring at Diamonds Int'l. That was a disasterous experience. No good deals and they had no time to set the other stones I had brought with me either. They actually referred me to Rachat & Romero down the street. They were very happy to set my stones, (ruby earrings and an aqua marine stone into a ring and possibly something else that I cannot remember from 2006). They set them right there on site with very little wait time offering beverages and candy. My husband was so satisfied, he said, "why don't we get the 25th anniversary ring you looked at" So I had them size a diamond baguette as a pinky ring and we both have been very happy. I have their receipts in front of me now wishing to get in contact with them to somehow set some more of my stones I've acquired in some of our other cruising travels. Yes, I would highly recommend this Jeweler.

We go to Cozumel just for Rachat
My wife and I have cruised three times to Cozumel, and each time we spend several hundred dollars in Rachat's. For these several hundred dollars, my wife has gotten a few thousand [stateside] dollars' worth of jewelry. Mostly opals, topaz and tanzanite.
