Run by some of the oldest bartenders in Hong Kong, perhaps even the world, this place is less popular with expatriates than other trendier venues in the area, and caters mainly to Chinese customers. Soft Canto-pop ballads play in the background, while small cohorts of drinkers, wedged into tiny cubicles, slurp their way through buckets of beer. The exterior is mock-Elizabethan, and the interior is dark and cozy, making this a pleasant bar to enjoy some solitude, particularly if you have just been dumped by your partner, be it a business or romantic one!
