Slottsskogens Vandrarhem is situated close to Slottsskogen - a large park that is like an oasis in the summer. The building that houses the hostel is not too charming, but the neighbourhood is, with beautiful houses and lots of cafés, bars and shops. Slottsskogens Vandrarhem is also a bit cheaper than most of the hostels in Gothenburg. Discounts are available for members of Hostelling International or Svenska Turistföreningen. To get there take trams 1 or 2 to Olivedalsgatan.
