Owned by the city since 1880, this unique hôtel was constructed in 1779 for parliament member Pierre de Raymond de Lalande. It welcomes collections of paintings, engravings, miniatures, sculptures, furniture, ceramics, glassware and silverware. The museum comprises three floors and reserves 300 square meters for temporary expositions. The permanent collection, enables the discovery of models of decorative French art (particularly Bordelais) from the 18th and 19th centuries. The restaurant and tea shop welcomes visitors every day except Sundays, from 11h to 18h. Admission costs around EUR 4, and is free the first Sunday of each month.
