Batan Waru is strategically located, just south of Ubud's soccer field. This place makes up for the lack of good, safe eateries serving local, traditional, Balinese food. Here, one can sample ferns and tofu in coconut milk as well as fish steamed in a banana leaf and spicy beef stew.
