As the oldest restaurant in the city, having opened in 1858, it is considered a historical monument. Its quality menu offers traditional cuisine. Among the Mexican dishes, the quesadillas (melted cheese in a soft taco shell) and regional guisos (stews) are recommendable, as are the other typical delicacies. The decor conjures up days of yesteryear and the service is courteous and efficient. Prices are reasonable.
