The first of Istanbul's mushrooming crop of wine bars, Pano is the modern equivalent of the traditional Greek taverna. Despite increasing competition, it’s still the most popular, although one wonders whether it's due to the superior range of reasonably priced house wines and tasty nosh or because it’s not possible to get a mobile phone signal once you’re in the door!
