Unlike its neighboring Kuta Beach, this Legian shoreline embraces many hotels, bungalows and cottages. Consequently, only a small part of it remains accessible to the public. Apart from swimming and frolicking under the sun, one can indulge in some good surfing. Be forewarned, though—the waves can get rather rough at times. Guests from the surrounding hotels usually while away their time here. From Jalan Legian, take a turn into Jalan Padma to get straight to the beach. Alternatively, walk along Jalan Pantai Kuta toward Legian all the way to the end.
