Though winning few points with its name, this upbeat little mom-and-pop joint serves up some of the best Italian in town. The first check mark for quality is the fact that they use real, homemade pasta, which is sometimes difficult to find in the land of pork and dumplings. Topped in tasty red and white sauces with generous doses of olive oil, these dishes are excellent - keep both the lasagne and the tortellini in mind. For the less adventurous, meat-and-potato loving members of your party, there are continental treats such as thick steaks and chicken breast dishes. There's also a fully-stocked bar, an endless wine list (featuring both local and foreign vintages) and Pilsner Urquell on tap. The knick-knack-style décor featuring everything from off-beat art work to obscure pictures surrounds a large tree growing in the middle of the restaurant. A lone pianist playing softly at the back of the restaurant often adds a bit of atmosphere.
