This dynamic cultural center, inaugurated in 1981, houses some of Rufino Tamayo's paintings, both his own works as well as from his collection, which he donated to the Mexican people. The museum often hosts concerts, theatre and other activities. It has a cafeteria, bookshop and library. Guided tours are free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays from 10a-2p.
