This arcade is run by Khadi Village Commission. Everything under the sun, in khadi, is available here. Khadi was Mahatma Gandhi's favourite fabric because it was homespun, easily available to rural India, and didn't require the dependence on imported manufacturing. Now, the fabric has been adopted by the designers and is a hit in fashion circles. At the Khadi bhavan, you can find khadi cotton and silk yardage, readymade garments, handmade paper, incense sticks, pure honey and much more. The prices are down-to-earth and a 10% discount is available for the 90 day period starting with Gandhi's birthday on October 2nd.
