The Sherman is considered as Cardiff's most exciting theatre, and with performances, such as Trainspotting and Bill Bryson's Notes from a Small Island, it has earned a reputation for popular, contemporary drama and comedy. Comprising of two theatres, the main auditorium and a small arena-style setting where the more experimental works are staged, the Sherman has its own youth theatre group. Excellent facilities for the disabled include interpreted and described performances. A separate box office line is available for the hard of hearing.
