Home to the Michigan State Fair, the fairgrounds also host events such as the Gun and Knife Show, Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet, Building Material Auction, and various wrestling events. The indoor coliseum is also home to the Wayne State University Hockey team. The fairgrounds have been around since the 1850s and attract crowds from neighboring states as well.
