This 17th century inn, located in Clifton Village, is a famous landmark. The establishment is well-known because of the court cases fought in the 1860s by its erstwhile landlord. It features a two-storey dining area as well as a courtyard next to a cobbled street. Munch on the Scottish halibut, beetroot, potatoes, pork, beef, eel or cod. Try the Hot Chocolate Fondant and Rhubarb Custard. Wash it all down with one of the wines. Don't forget to bring your friends. Coming here is like a date with history.
