The Mark Ultra Lounge bills itself as a "chic hotel bar, without the hotel," and aspires to the same status as designer lounges in New York and Los Angeles. According to both locals and visitors, it succeeds very well. There is no line in the place that isn't sinuous, no lighting that isn't intimate, and nobody that isn't fashionably dressed.
