The Brac Parrot Reserve is dominated by pristine, ancient woodlands on a very rough and rocky terrain. A great diversity of native trees, including species not present on Grand Cayman or Little Cayman, support breeding woodland birds such as the Red-Legged Thrush, White Crowned Pigeon ("Bald Pate") and Black-whiskered Vireo. Parrots are often seen and heard around the Reserve, especially in the early morning and late afternoon. For more information contact the Cayman Brac District of the National Trust (+1 345 948 0319). The reserve is easily accessible with very walkable trails and a raised boardwalk through the forest.
