The collections within the Museo Histórico Sarmiento commemorate the legacy of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, who was president of the nation from 1868-1874. He was also renowned for his efforts to improve Education not just in Argentina, but for all of South America. Admission is only ARS1. Admission is free every Thursday. Not open on Sundays from December to March.
