Two hours south of Marrakech, in the High Atlas Mountains, this 38,000-hectare national park was Morocco's first, designated in 1942. The high mountains landscapes are breathtaking. The highest peak of the mountain chain, the Toubkal mount, culminates here at 4,167 meters. It is the highest point in North Africa. The mountains host endemic vegetation, along with rare species such as the barbary sheep and several raptors. For assistance uncovering the beauty of the park, contact Kasbah du Toubkal.
