The extent to which dishes can be made using cheese is unfathomable. Aside from having the ability to play a part in each of the three courses, even varied fine wine can't be distinguished without them. Importing and creating the best of foreign and American cheeses are Matt and Kate Jennings in their East Providence cheese shop called the Farmstead. Dining has landed new dimensions since their shop opened in 2003, so much so that the duo themselves got in the mix of things and opened the La Laiterie adjacent to the place to provide Rhode Islanders with their own share of fine gourmet foods and cheesecakes, probably even increasing gymnasium revenues in the process.
