California Dreaming is situated at the mouth of the Ashley River, and therefore patrons can enjoy a dazzling view of the water as they dine on thick slabs of prime rib or the catch of the day. The building itself is designed to resemble a fort from the Civil War era, made out of brick with ceiling-high, arched windows.
