A part of the Folsom Lake Recreation Area, the Granite Bay is a safe waterfront for day outings. Lifeguard services on the well-maintained sandy beach are available making swimming safe. Barbecue pits, shady and grassy areas make it a picnic spot with many activities like swimming, boating, fishing and beach games. A mobile snack bar too is available at the bay.
