Overlooking the beautiful 108-acre Kapiolani Park, this high-rise has one of the best views of Diamond Head in Waikiki. It was built in 1959 and totally renovated in 1989. If you are into golf, this is a good place to stay, as the Ala Wai Golf course is just a few blocks away. Guests have access to nearby tennis courts, and the hotel sports a large swimming pool on the third floor deck. As you might expect from a large hotel, there are three choices for dining and drinking. The rooms are good sized, comfortable and clean. The decor is a bit dated but all in all, the place is well kept.
