For years, El Buque has been providing its customers with delicious seafood dishes in an environment resembling a ship on the high seas. This is one of the few restaurants that actually succeeds in making customers feel as if they have been transported aboard a ship at sea. A mural of a giant ship greets visitors as they enter El Buque, and a whistle announces the boarding of newcomers, who are welcomed by a pianist and waiters dressed as sailors...a truly unforgettable experience. The restaurant has seating for 190 people and is divided into smoking and non-smoking areas. There is also a private room for 15 people for special occasions, and on the second floor is a boat-shaped bar, decorated with funnels and a lighthouse. Try Three Flavor lobster (chili, garlic and curry), the Cariñosa soup (lobster with squid, oysters, shrimp and crab), and the Marinera rice (a paella with seafood sauce). Delicious.
