If you know nothing about Chinese tea brewing, the staff here at the nation's largest tea house will gently guide you through the process. In fact, one wonders if Queen Elizabeth II, no doubt well acquainted with British tea, had to be instructed when she visited in October 1989. Within the walls adorned with Chinese paintings and calligraphy, a sense of tranquillity and culture prevails. Chinese and Taiwanese tea featured include Imperial Golden Cassia, Oriental Beauty, floral tea, white tea and health tea. Workshops in calligraphy, painting, art/music appreciation are held regularly. Tea leaves, utensils and gift sets are also available.
