Visible in the distance from the top of the Corcovado and the whole Parque do Flamengo, it was the longest bridge of its type in the world when it was finished in 1974. If you have a car, this 15.5 km snake will take you on a day trip to the city of Niterói. Sixty meters high and 26.6 meters wide, this six-lane bridge seems to go on forever.
