These walking tours can take from two hours to a full day and require an average level of fitness. Shorter tours allow you to explore the central city or Port Hills of Christchurch, while longer tours take you into the Southern Alps or onto Banks Peninsula to explore ancient volcanic craters. If you enjoy the outdoors and the flora and fauna of native bush, you will not be disappointed by the options available to you.
