Bistro 45 is a very hot spot on the quickly rising East Side. Located in Pasadena, this Cal-French hybrid offers the best of both worlds. The wine list is fantastic, the decor is tasteful, and the mood is romantic. Be sure to save room for the always-exquisite desserts as well. Those who live by the Rose Bowl don't have to make the drive for quality European anymore. Forget that immediate impulse, though. Rising popularity has made reservations here a must.
