Everyone can find something of interest in East Park. It is a sort of time machine, comprising 77 hectares of fun! Visitors can travel back to the time of Columbus in a replica of his Santa María caravel; go all the way back to prehistoric times in the Terrarium, which boasts one of the most complete collections of reptiles and amphibians in Venezuela; soar with the multi-colored Venezuelan birds in the Aviary; and journey to the future in the Planetarium. The present isn't forgotten though. Visitors can enjoy the moment while listening to concerts, admiring the fauna that inhabits five of the nine lakes, rowing in an animal-less lake, or have a bite to eat next to Columbus' caravel. To keep in shape, join the dedicated group of joggers that have special entry to the park from 5:30a, even on Mondays when the gate is closed to normal visiting public.
