A very popular place with tourists who want to buy a souvenir of Peru and it is well situated, in the centre of San Isidro. On first entering you are struck by the sight of a replica of the Lance of Chavín de Huantar (it was found in the Old Temple of Chavin -located in the department of Ancash. It´s a piece made of stone related with water and fertility that was object of cult of the Chavin culture, 1.500 years before Christ). There are 40 stalls in the market with a large variety of silverware, cloths, ceramics leatherwear, alpaca jumpers and paintings from all around the country. There are public toilets, telephones and parking.
