This warm, russet-hued four-star hotel is to be found in the centre of the old village of Whickham, only a few minutes drive from Newcastle, and conveniently close to all the shops and amenities at the Gateshead Metro Centre. It boasts a spectacular view of both Newcastle and the Tyne Valley. The building itself feels like a pleasant mix of old-fashioned and modern.
