This place dishes up delicious Bangladeshi home-cooking amazingly cheaply. Don't expect any frills, just enjoy their blistering curries - the vindaloo is lethal, there's no pandering to Western tastes here. Vegetarians are well-catered for and there are all the dishes you'd expect to find - samosas, popadoms, dansak, korma, jalfrezi etc. Not a particularly adventurous menu, but when it's this cheap, who's complaining? They aren't licensed, so buy some lager or wine from the off-licence a few doors down the road and bring your own. It's very popular with locals, the staff are friendly, it's relaxed and informal and the food is tasty, making this a great place for a relaxed meal with friends.
