St.Michaels Heim is situated in the leafy and well-to-do Grunewald district. The stylish villa is surrounded by parkland and has pleasant views over the nearby lake. Run by a charitable institution, the building is divided into different sections - a hotel, youth hostel, kindergarten and conference rooms (mostly used for church meetings). The Western city centre is not that far away, although the area isn't linked to the underground system, which makes things slightly difficult if you are here without a car. However, lovely Grunewald forest and its many lakes are extremely close.
