Although now a small, obscure temple, the Muryozan complex boasted over 100 structures during the Tokugawa Shogunate, when Edo (now Tokyo) was the center of feudal society in Japan. Indeed, for history buffs of Japan's shogunate period there are two graves of some interest within the grounds of this temple. Odai, the mother of Shogun Ieyasu, is buried here, as is Senhime, her great granddaughter and daughter of Hidetada. Admission: Free.
