In the long and always growing list of hotel restaurants designed by celebrity chefs, Matbaren ("The Food Bar") is the first to fuse gourmet Swedish cuisine with casual appeal. The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Mathias Dahlgren, who sought to contrast his more formal restaurant, Matsalen, with a place where people could feel at ease while being served the freshest and most inventive food available. Each day the kitchen produces a new menu of Swedish classics and international favorites, as well a different wine list to complement any dish. Masbaren is the perfect place to have an inventive meal with a group of close friends.
