The seafood here could not be fresher or better prepared. The decor is early waterfront, but, this being Marin, that bric-a-brac is vintage, not second-hand. The food is also deceptive. Seafood platters, batter-fried shrimp and such are the order of the day and though it is the staple bill of fare at seafood places everywhere, here the batter is light and ever so slightly sweet, which makes it a good complement to the fish and shrimp it encases. Moreover, the frying is done to crisp perfection, and the greasiness is virtually nonexistent. There are broiled lobster tails and fish dishes, too, depending on what the day's catch is, as well as a nice Linguine with Clam Sauce, and kid's meals that are a great deal. The crowd is locals of all ages, but especially families with kids, and the wait staff is great with them all.
