When a restaurant in Caracas has been in business in the same place for 30 to 40 years, it must be good. Hereford Grill started business in Las Mercedes long before it's current competitors moved into the area. The restaurant still offers its selection of grilled meats, cooked Argentinian- or Venezuelan-style, and is divided into an air-conditioned interior and an outside patio. The interior is colonial-style. Steaks, spare ribs, pork loins, and similar dishes are all available with the usual accompaniments of salads, tamale, large tortillas, cheeses and sauces. They don't have a specific specialty, apart from the good reputation Hereford Grill has for being one of the best meat restaurants in the city.
