Homesick Aussies will rejoice at this place and a simple glance in the door will convince you that people come here to drink and have fun. The restaurant doesn't advertise, doesn't cater to tourists and doesn't make even a passing attempt at sophistication or worldliness. The result is instant relaxation and a desire to return. This is a great place for unabashed carnivores. Get chicken in a basket, a porterhouse steak or a leg of lamb. Low wooden tables, wall-to-wall wooden benches and small windows make for a cozy cave-like atmosphere. A jukebox on the tiny dance floor gets folks grooving as early as 5pm.
