This upscale eatery is small, but bright and tidy. It serves diners from all over the Bay Area. Its regional specialties are served at very few other places.The menu at Dona Tomas changes seasonally to reflect the abundance of fresh, organic produce that is available to us year round in the Bay area. You can usually find Huitlacoche Quesadillas, made from mushroom not usually found in the States and Enchiladas covered in a Tangy Guajillo Sauce. The desserts here are also special - a substantial and delicious Pumpkin and Mascarpone Custard, and a rich Mexican Chocolate Cake to name a few. The service is generally done either in the dining room or on the charming patio.
