What began as a roadhouse with a less than savory reputation has become a local upscale favorite, but Moss Beach Distillery retains a bygone flavor with its vintage decor. There is also a ghost that is supposed to haunt the place, which adds a uniquely supernatural note, although there are no guarantees that she will appear. What will appear is great food served up by a friendly staff. The mesquite-grilled seafood is always fresh and served by a first-rate wait staff. Try prime rib, steaks and great crispy salads, too. Or, sip a drink from the full bar and watch the glorious sunset.
