There are few enough kosher-style delis left in the city and this is the only one that is Chicago-style, from the special, slightly salty whitefish on the menu to the lived-in look of the gleaming counters full of delights. You will find great pastrami, corned beef and other cured meats served by the pound or in huge sandwiches piled high with meat as well as kugel, knishes, babkas and bialys, all made authentically just like Grandma used to. The service is friendly.
