Bistro Clovis is a refreshingly quiet little bistro that captures the charm of the French version, but none of the pretension that can accompany the importation. Vintage bistro tables and chairs add to the charm as does the marble-topped bar for the business types and Francophiles who make this place popular. The wait staff is brisk but personable whether explaining the long list of daily specials or whisking your steak fries to your table. The menu reflects what is seasonal, but usually includes hearty and flavorful beouf burguignonne and exquisitely grilled fresh fish. The wine list has an excellent selection of French wines.
