This neighborhood favorite has delicious fresh sushi, friendly chefs, authentic decor and fun ambiance. The decor, the food and a friendly staff make this place a festive and authentic experience. Paper lanterns and screens accent warm wall tones. Dinner tables are placed close to the ground just like in Japan. Shelves are topped with hundreds of sake boxes decorated by customers. The menu is filled with traditional donburi, teriyaki and tempura dishes as well a wide selection of sushi and specialty rolls to choose from. Some interesting specialty hand roll varieties include the PG&E Baka (halibut tempura, eel sauce and avocado), Trish The Dish (sea urchin and squid), and Pain in the A** (eel, cucumber, avocado, albacore tuna, green onion and garlic with ponzu sauce).
